Today,
cremation after death is a choice for Catholics. The new St. Francis section
is a special place for burial in a garden setting for those Catholics
choosing cremation. The Church treats cremation as a sacred body deserving
a sacred burial, and precludes the scattering of ashes.
Niches for cremated
bodies are also available in our mausoleums.
A variety of lot options are
available: Garden, Shrine and Veteran sections.
The
lot you chose determines the type of monument you can purchase later. We allow a variety of monument options including: large monuments,
raised slant markers, and flat markers.
A vault is required
with all ground burials. Holy Sepulchre does not sell monuments, and
a monument is not included in the price of a burial space.
