Above ground burial includes burial sites in both Resurrection
and All Saints mausoleums – and in the St. Francis Cremation Columbarium.
Our community
mausoleums are state-of-the-art, constructed on site by one of the premier
builders in North America.
All of the mausoleums are constructed to the highest standards in the
industry. The interior crypt fronts are of marble called perlotto,
imported from Sicily. The trim and some of the niche fronts are a dark
green marble, called tinos, imported from Greece, and quarried
from the same material used to construct the ancient Parthenon in Athens.
Exterior crypt fronts are of granite to withstand the elements. The
exterior walls of the buildings are constructed of a fieldstone, Canadian
Laurentian Granite.
Full body crypts and cremated
body niches are available in our mausoleums. The memorial is included
in the price (bronze name plate or lettering). A vault is not required
with above ground burial.
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery broke ground on June 10, 2005 on the largest development
project the cemetery has ever initiated --- the three- level, state-of-the-art
Christ Our Light mausoleum. The mausoleum will be the largest ever constructed
in any similar cemetery in Upstate New York. The 70,420 square foot building
was designed by SWBR Architects and is being constructed by Le Chase Construction
Services.
The Christ Our Light mausoleum will be the third mausoleum to be built at Holy
Sepulchre, and will have nearly 7,000 burial spaces
